Certified Erosion Control Inspections:

Construction sites larger than one acre in size are required to follow an approved Storm water Pollution Protection Plan (SWPPP). State, and local regulators often require that installed erosion devices be inspected once every seven days and within 24 hours after a ½” rainfall event. These inspections must be documented and recorded on site.

CEC maintains a staff of experienced inspectors that can provide On-Site Plan Coordinator and third party inspection services and retains a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPSEC) available 24/7. Our well trained staff will identify high priority erosion control areas based on a number of criteria: site location, stage of development and relative distance to sensitive features (wetlands, streams, vernal pools, riparian habitat).
